Lunch at Finisterrae

After last weeks opening of the pizzeria at the weekend, we have decided to open up the restaurant this weekend.

We will be open Friday to Sunday from 12.00 until 16.00.

For the menu, we have kept it very simple to start with,

For the starters:

BRUSCHETTA, freshly toasted Tuscan bread with tomatoes, olive oil and basil

DEGUSTAZIONE, selection of Tuscan hams and salamis with olives

SELEZIONE, an assortment of Tuscan cheeses with walnuts and honey

GRAN PIATTO, a platter of Tuscan cold cuts, pecorino cheese and bruschetta (for two)

For the first course:

ZUPPA DI FAGIOLI E FARRO, bean and spelt soup

RIGATONI, with sausage, artichokes and burrata cheese

SPAGHETTI, with tomato e spicy nduja salami

On a lighter note did any notice that Bernie Saunders was in the queue for a table on Sunday.

All week its been cold but the sun has been out and it has been a joy to sit outside in the sun. Just when we start to open for lunch it looks like it’s going to rain all weekend, oh well, but we have plenty of room inside
